Site Assessment Findings on Riverfront Property for Naugatuck, CT
About Us
AKRF's Glen Stefaniak presented findings of a multi-acre riverfront property site assessment, as reported in the Naugatuck Patch. Before the Naugatuck Board of Mayor and Burgesses, Stefaniak said that the soil on the contained both buried rubble and contaminates, including high levels of lead and petroleum impacts in some areas.
Once the assessment is finished, AKRF will be able to determine what it will cost to clean up the parcel so it can be redeveloped.
The assessment is part of AKRF's ongoing work for the Renaissance Place project, a public and private venture to redevelop the borough for commercial and residential uses.
