Destiny USA is designed to be the world’s largest enclosed and integrated structure, and projected to be the single most visited leisure destination on earth. Located on 800 acres adjacent to Lake Onondaga in Syracuse, NY, the project would include 15 million square feet of entertainment, recreation, shopping, and dining in an enclosed environment powered by renewable energy. For this ambitious project, AKRF has provided economic and tourism analyses, including a trade area analysis, visitor estimates and profiles, and spending projections; economic and fiscal projections; and a feasibility analysis for developing alternative energy research and development clusters in upstate New York.
