played the leading role in historic development projects,
controversial planning decisions, hazardous materials
remediation, and many hundreds of other projects in
all five boroughs. Since 1981, AKRF has made it our
business to know New York City inside and out, above
and below ground, better than anyone else, making us
the consultants of choice. Our planners, engineers,
and environmental consultants not only know New York
City’s standards and regulations, but in some
cases we developed the guiding methodologies for those
standards and regulations (i.e., The City Environmental
Quality Review Technical Manual). Regardless of
where our clients’ projects are, they’ll
