202 Broome Street Tops-Out at Essex Crossing

The topping-out of 202 Broome Street at Essex Crossing in Manhattan is another major milestone in the transformative renewal of the Seward Park neighborhood. AKRF has been leading civil engineering and permitting for the site and provided geotechnical engineering for a subterranean pedestrian tunnel connecting 202 Broome Street and 180 Broome Street. We also prepared a Construction Protection Plan for the building, provided site assessment and remediation services, and consulted on the temporary closure of Suffolk Street during construction. AKRF originally prepared the Generic Environmental Impact Statement for the overall Seward Park/Essex Crossing project.
