Fred Jacobs, Ph.D.

Fred specializes in analyzing and mitigating the environmental impacts that changing land-use activities may have on water quality and biological communities.

Fred leads the firm’s Hanover, MD, office, conveniently located near Baltimore and Washington. His extensive experience in natural resources studies, waterfront development, and regulatory compliance make him a valuable resource for project management in those areas. He has procured numerous environmental permits from governmental agencies on behalf of clients and directed studies for public and private sector clients on a wide range of issues that include dredging, fisheries, wetlands, water quality assessments and certifications, and stormwater impacts.

Fred is a member of the Coastal & Estuarine Research Federation and the Business Network for Offshore Wind.
