Robert J. Golden Jr.
Robert J. Golden Jr., a Senior Vice President in AKRF’s Energy practice, has over 35 years of experience as a Project Manager and Multi-Media Permitting Specialist on energy development, facility siting, and infrastructure improvement projects.
As Project Manager responsible for obtaining all required environmental permits and plan approvals/certifications, Mr. Golden has overseen the development of permitting strategies for a multitude of complex projects from inception, through construction and operation. His extensive experience includes management of multidisciplinary technical staff, project team members, and subcontractors under strict budget and schedule constraints, while interacting with numerous regulatory approval agencies and stakeholders.
His expertise covers a wide spectrum of new electric generation and transmission projects in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania, including support for conventional fossil fuel, wind energy, battery storage, and renewable energy projects, as well as preparing and directing the technical efforts for Article VII and Article X projects in New York.
Mr. Golden has an undergraduate degree in Environmental Science from Rutgers University and a Masters in Management, Marine Resources Management Specialization, from Texas A&M University.
