AKRF Welcomes Dana Sferlazzo in Princeton, NJ
AKRF is pleased to announce that Dana Sferlazzo has joined the firm as an environmental geologist for site assessment and remediation in our Princeton, New Jersey office. Dana joins our 350+ planners, engineers, and scientists in New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Ohio who combine their strategic problem-solving abilities and practical field experience to achieve client objectives. Dana has 9 years of New Jersey site remediation experience, and most recently was a geologist with a New Jersey-based civil and environmental engineering company.
Dana’s projects have included municipalities, counties, commercial real estate developers, and private corporations. “Dana brings to AKRF her valuable experience supporting Licensed Site Remediation Professionals on projects across New Jersey, especially in our coastal counties along the Jersey shore," said Jeffrey Entin, Senior Vice President. “She will be a terrific mentor for our emerging professionals and a valuable resource for AKRF and our clients.”
Dana brings a wealth of expertise in all aspects of site remediation from due diligence to brownfield site redevelopment to the remedial investigation of soils and groundwater. She has specific experience advising clients and helping secure public funding from programs including Green Acres and the Hazardous Discharge Site Remediation Fund. Dana has also been directly responsible for the preparation of spill response plans and stormwater pollution prevention plans at a range of properties for several New Jersey counties.
Dana earned her B.S. in Geology with concentrations in chemistry and business development from Castleton College. She enjoys field hockey, snowboarding, and water sports with her family.
