AKRF Welcomes Jennifer Hogan as Senior Technical Director
AKRF is excited to announce that Jennifer Hogan, CM, has joined the Environmental Services Group as a Senior Technical Director. Jennifer brings to AKRF her 17 years of experience in National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) analysis and documentation on large-scale, complex transportation projects, with a focus on large- and medium-hub airports throughout the country. She is a Certified Member (CM) of the American Association of Airport Executives, and has worked on and managed a variety of aviation projects for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey as well as airports in Charlotte, Philadelphia, and Las Vegas.
Jennifer formerly served as a Senior Project Manager and airport and environmental planner at VHB, where she prepared Environmental Assessments, Environmental Impact Statements, and other environmental studies associated with planning and development projects, and in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Her experience also includes the management of regulatory permitting and associated mitigation for infrastructure and planning work.
She has worked extensively on airport system capacity planning, Passenger Facility Charge applications, noise compatibility studies, obstructions analyses, and other technical studies and consulting services. Jennifer works closely with the Federal Aviation Administration and has coordinated among a wide variety of local, state, and federal agencies on NEPA environmental studies.
Jennifer earned a Master of Arts in Environmental Studies from Brown University and Bachelor of Science in Agricultural and Biological Engineering from Cornell University. In addition to her CM certification, she is certified in Charrette Management and Facilitation by the National Charrette Institute.
