AKRF Welcomes Kassandra Lacerda to Our Team
AKRF is pleased to announce that Kassandra Lacerda has joined the firm as a Technical Director for site assessment and remediation. Kasey joins more than 350 planners, engineers, and scientists in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Maryland who combine their strategic problem-solving abilities and practical field experience to achieve client objectives. She has 14 years of New Jersey site remediation experience and most recently was a Compliance Manager with an industry-leading, New Jersey-based recycling and waste management company.
"Kasey and I worked together earlier in our careers helping clients from industrial facilities to real estate developers resolve their most complex Licensed Site Remediation Professional and site remediation needs," said Jeffrey Entin, Senior Vice President of AKRF. "She will be a valuable resource for AKRF and our clients, and a terrific mentor for our staff."
Kasey was directly involved in the development and implementation of acceptable used criteria for the management of clean fill, contaminated soils, and recyclable materials at some of the most well-known beneficial reuse, landfill redevelopment, and recycling projects in the New York and New Jersey metropolitan region. She brings a wealth of expertise in the New Jersey Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) and site remediation programs; due diligence; brownfield site redevelopment; remedial investigation of soils and groundwater; ecological evaluation; remediation management and oversight; and solid and hazardous waste management.
