New York Route 17 Exit 131 ATCS Begins Operation

The Adaptive Traffic Control System for the Route 17 Exit 131 diverging diamond interchange adjacent to Woodbury Common Premium Outlets was enabled just in time for the height of the holiday shopping season. AKRF, in conjunction with HighwayTech, provided simulation modeling, controller programming, and deployment for the ATCS, and we will now undertake a year-long post implementation study.
