AKRF Works with NYCDOT on Citywide ADA-Accessibility Guidelines

AKRF is working with the New York City Department of Transportation to develop new citywide ADA-accessibility guidelines. NYCDOT has committed to spending $1.55 billion over 10 years to improve street-corner accessibility. We are also assisting a city-hired surveyor with inventorying all sidewalk ramps across the five boroughs using in-field smart levels for future repairs.
