AKRF and Public Works Partners Facilitate Virtual Public Scoping Hearing for Empire Station Complex

AKRF and Public Works Partners recently facilitated the virtual public scoping hearing with over 230 participants for the Empire Station Complex Environmental Impact Statement on behalf of Empire State Development. The approximately 20 million gross-square-foot development would create a modernized, transit-oriented commercial district in the area surrounding the existing New York Penn Station site, integrate the soon-to-be completed Moynihan Train Hall, and support the southward expansion of Penn Station, increasing platform capacity by 40 percent.
