Historical Archaeology's 2020 Conference on Historical and Underwater Archaeology in Boston

Three members of AKRF’s cultural resources team presented at the Society for Historical Archaeology’s 2020 Conference on Historical and Underwater Archaeology in Boston, Massachusetts. Elizabeth Meade (with Douglas Mooney of the Philadelphia Archaeological Forum) presented “Cursed Be He That Moves My Bones: The Archaeologist’s Role in Protecting Burial Sites in Urban Areas;” Molly McDonald presented “The Right to Wharf Out: Contextualizing Early American Wharf Construction;” and Michael Pappalardo presented “The Waters Around You Have Grown: Discovering Staten Island’s Past through Protecting its Future.”
