Center for Community Health Opens in Brooklyn

A new 400,000-square-foot NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital healthcare center opened in March 2021 in Brooklyn with an ambulatory surgery center, endoscopy/special procedures suite, cancer center of excellence, and an institute for orthopedic surgery. AKRF performed crack and vibration monitoring services to protect neighboring buildings in the Park Slope Historic District during construction, and oversaw optical monitoring as well. We also prepared the Environmental Assessment Statement and Construction Protection Plan for the new building.
