Construction Beginning on Head End Combined Sewer Overflow Tank

The New York City Department of Environmental Protection announced construction is beginning on the Head End Combined Sewer Overflow Tank in Gowanus, Brooklyn – critical to Superfund remediation of the Gowanus Canal. AKRF led preparation of the Environmental Impact Statement and Uniform Land Use Review Procedure applications for the Gowanus Canal CSO facilities, and we continue to be involved with permitting efforts.
