A new public park at Pier 42 is under construction along Lower Manhattan’s East River waterfront. The project will dismantle and replace a warehouse structure with trees and vegetation for public open space on the 8-acre site. AKRF has been providing site assessment/remediation and cultural resources consulting for the project, designed by Mathews Nielsen Landscape Architects.
