Empire State Trail Complete Across New York State

New York State recently announced completion of the Empire State Trail – now the longest multi-use state trail in the country at 750 total miles. As part of the Greenman-Pedersen consultant team, AKRF coordinated environmental analyses pursuant to SEQRA and NEPA requirements for a 10-mile leg of the Erie Canalway between Camillus and DeWitt. This critical on-road link helps complete uninterrupted bicycle and pedestrian access in the City of Syracuse.
