Fast Company Honors Two AKRF Projects

The TWA Hotel at JFK International Airport won Fast Company’s Innovation by Design Award in the hospitality category. AKRF prepared the Environmental Assessment and air quality permitting for the new 512-room hotel and conference center. Also, the David H. Koch Center for Cancer Care at Memorial Sloan Kettering in Manhattan received honorable mention in Fast Company’s Innovation by Design Award program in both the health and spaces/places categories. AKRF prepared the Environmental Impact Statement, consulted on transportation circulation and sound attenuation, and provided site assessment and remediation services.
