Final Scope of Work Released for Empire Station Complex EIS

The Final Scope of Work was publicly released for the Empire Station Complex Environmental Impact Statement being led by AKRF on behalf of Empire State Development. The proposed project would result in approximately 20 million gross square feet of commercial office, retail, and hotel space on eight development sites surrounding New York Penn Station, integrate the soon-to-be completed Moynihan Train Hall, and support the southward expansion of Penn Station — increasing platform capacity by 40 percent.
