Google Hudson Square Tops Out at 550 Washington Street

Oxford Properties Group and Google recently celebrated topping-out the redevelopment of St. John’s Terminal, a former freight terminal at 550 Washington Street in Manhattan being transformed into a 1.3 million-square-foot commercial office property as part of the Google Hudson Square campus. AKRF prepared the Environmental Impact Statement for the project and creation of the Special Hudson River Park District, which allowed the development to benefit the park. We also provided transportation, hazardous materials, and infrastructure planning services, and now serve as acoustical and environmental consultant. The building is being constructed by Turner Construction and designed by COOKFOX Architects.
