Groundbreaking Celebrated for The Met’s Michael C. Rockefeller Wing Renovation

The Metropolitan Museum of Art in Manhattan held a groundbreaking ceremony for the $70 million redesign of the Michael C. Rockefeller Wing to house three distinct galleries dedicated to the arts of Ancient America, Oceania, and Africa. AKRF helped The Met analyze replacement of the wing’s exterior-glazed curtain wall. The design is being led by wHY Architects.
