Sustainability - Planning & Design

AKRF’s multi-disciplinary staff offers sustainability analysis and design services, with a focus on four major areas: climate change, sustainable site design, water resources, and comprehensive planning and community design.

We are members of the U.S. Green Building Council, and our team includes Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professionals, Professional Engineers, scientists, planners, and landscape designers who have developed sustainable design and policy in their years of environmental work.

AKRF has provided sustainability services in support of the New York State Climate Action Plan and New Jersey Greenhouse Gas Inventories, in addition to the below featured projects. These projects highlight just a portion of our experience.
