Major Construction Begins on East Side Coastal Resiliency

​The start of major construction on ​East Side Coastal Resiliency​ was announced this month, kicking off the $1.45 billion physical, social, and economic resiliency project with an integrated coastal protection system along 2.4 miles of Manhattan’s East River shoreline. AKRF ​is leading the multidisciplinary design team and also led the Environmental Impact Statement.
