Fox Square Plaza Design

Fox Square in Downtown Brooklyn is a triangular 10,000-square-foot public plaza at the corner of Flatbush Avenue and Nevins Street. AKRF worked with the New York City Economic Development Corporation, New York City Department of Transportation, and Downtown Brooklyn Partnership to develop the design, permitting plans, and specifications for the reconstruction project, and advanced the preferred design to the New York City Public Design Commission for review and approval. We also prepared cost estimates, provided construction-phase support, and developed a maintenance manual for the renovated plaza.
