Mount Sinai Queens Pavilion

The new $175 million, 140,000-square-foot addition at Mount Sinai Queens in Astoria includes an enlarged surgical suite and expanded outpatient medical, imaging, and presurgical testing services. The multi-phase project by Mount Sinai Health System began in 2013 and was completed in 2018. AKRF prepared the Environmental Assessment Statement and performed crack and vibration monitoring during construction. Mount Sinai estimates that the expansion project generated at least 460 construction-related and 340 additional jobs, and added more than $175 million to the local economy. Nearly 500 physicians at the Mount Sinai Queens Pavilion represent close to 40 medical and surgical specialties and subspecialties.
