MulDer Square Design

In support of a transportation enhancement project for the City of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, AKRF is providing landscape architecture and urban design services for a pedestrian plaza area at a reconfigured traffic intersection to activate underutilized road space and create a community amenity/green space; a multi-use path and replacement of an existing cul-de-sac with greening and public open space improvements; and conversion of a small alley into a pedestrian-priority green alley that will create an inviting public space for walking and neighborhood interaction. Each of the three project sites will integrate green stormwater infrastructure into the amenities and green space.
