New York-Presbyterian Hospital David H. Koch Center

The 17-story, 740,000-square-foot NewYork-Presbyterian David H. Koch Center in Manhattan opened in 2018 and offers outpatient surgery, interventional radiology, diagnostic imaging, and infusion services, as well as an integrative health center and future development of the Alexandra Cohen Hospital for Women and Newborns. AKRF performed construction noise and vibration monitoring and provided noise E-Designation support. The distinctive exterior facade consists of triple-paned insulated glazing with an encapsulated wood screen. Our firm also prepared the Environmental Assessment Statement for Board of Standards and Appeals approvals and led civil engineering and site assessment and remediation services. We also provided transportation engineering support. The building is certified for LEED BD+C: Healthcare v3.
