The world’s first and largest 3D robotic sign
Just as the architectural rendering has become an everyday method of visual communication, a calibrated sound simulation, or auralization, is the new normal for conveying subjective impressions of the acoustical environment – where hearing is believing. PinDrop is AKRF’s floating “room within a room” providing a high level of acoustical isolation, an extremely low baseline level of sound, neutral sound response, and premium audio playback capability so our clients and partners can experience the built acoustical environment during design, evaluate acoustical adequacy of various design elements, and make informed decisions.
AKRF led full-service acoustical, audiovisual, security, and IT design for the PinDrop flagship conference room, two huddle rooms, ancillary offices, and an exhibition area. Comprising approximately 2,500 square feet, the overall space includes digital signage and presentation displays, ceiling and table microphones, speakers, cameras, lighting, balanced power, and other hardware and software solutions to meet customer and user needs. AKRF also prepared graphics user interface concepts to customize the touch-panel layout. Services performed by AKRF included planning, programming, design, construction, commissioning oversight, and construction administration.
