The Max at 606 West 57th Street

The Max, a new 44-story residential building with 770 luxury units and 258 affordable units in West Midtown Manhattan, offers scenic views of the Hudson River as well as a basketball court, fitness center, co-working space, and a screening room. Because the building site is enrolled in the New York City Voluntary Brownfield Cleanup Program, AKRF performed a remedial investigation to compile and evaluate data and information necessary to develop a Remedial Action Work Plan, and performed oversight of the construction excavation activities to ensure compliance with the plan. We also prepared the Environmental Impact Statement pursuant to CEQR for a special permit, zoning map amendment, and zoning text amendments.
