Sunrise Wind Receives BOEM Notice of Intent to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement

Sunrise Wind – the largest proposed offshore wind farm in New York – received a Notice of Intent from the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management to commence the preparation of an Environmental Impact Statement. AKRF has been supporting Ørsted and Eversource, as part of the Stantec team, in preparing the project’s Construction and Operations Plan and leading preparation of the NYSPSC Article VII Application for the project’s offshore and onshore electric transmission line.
