Austin’s focus is managing ecological resource assessments, developing restoration design plans, and performing permitting tasks for public and private clients, including diverse stakeholders and full delivery for turn-key pursuits.

A respected expert in stream and wetland assessment and design, he has designed and managed significant ecological restoration projects throughout the Chesapeake Bay region. Austin specializes in stream and wetland mitigation site searches, stream geomorphic assessments, best management practices, outfall inspection/stabilization, and water quality monitoring/sampling. He has extensive experience with local, state, and federal regulations including National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) and Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) compliance, biological and habitat stream surveys, natural resources inventories, and forest stand delineation/forest conservation plans.
