George has been directly involved in the air permitting of over 4,700 MW of natural-gas-fired combined cycle capacity and 1,600 MW of natural-gas-fired simple cycle capacity for power-generating facilities throughout the Eastern U.S.
George manages AKRF’s EnviroMet Division, which specializes in air quality permitting, dispersion modeling, and compliance-related projects within the energy industry. George’s extensive experience in the air quality and meteorology consulting experience in private industry include numerous years within the energy industry. He has worked on existing and new/modified energy projects in 20 different states. Additional support services he has provided include regulatory analysis, emissions estimation, regional emissions inventories, technology evaluations, dispersion modeling evaluations, and design of air quality and meteorological monitoring networks.
