AKRF Projects Honored by The Architect’s Newspaper

The Architect’s Newspaper honored numerous AKRF projects among their “Best of Design Awards,” including the TWA Hotel (Beyer Blinder Belle) as Building of the Year and winner for adaptive reuse. Also honored were 130 William Street (Adjaye Associates) for its facade and Sendero Verde (Handel Architects) for green building. Honorable mentions included MSK Nassau (Ewing Cole) for healthcare; First Avenue Water Plaza (SCACPE) for public landscape; Richard Gilder Center for Science, Education, and Innovation (Studio Gang) for unbuilt cultural; and the Northeast Bronx YMCA (Marvel Architects) for unbuilt public.
