Urban League Empowerment Center Breaks Ground in Harlem

AKRF is providing site assessment/remediation services for the new 17-story, $240 million Urban League Empowerment Center that broke ground in March on West 125th Street in Harlem, Manhattan. The center will include the National Urban League Headquarters; a civil rights museum; the National Urban League Institute for Race, Equity and Justice conference center; 170 units of affordable housing; and below-market-rate office space for nonprofit groups.
