Volunteering for the Future City Competition

Karen Armfield, Kenny Mui, Jeffrey Entin, Cameron Robertson, Nicole Clarke, and Temaria Davis recently volunteered for Future City, a national, non-profit competition sponsored by the engineering community to promote technological literacy and engineering to middle school students. Karen also served as New York City regional coordinator for the competition. The winning team for AKRF’s sponsored award (“Most Sustainable Water Use”) was an all-girls 8th grade team from Columbia Secondary School in Harlem, NY. Congratulations to all the participants!
