Westchester Land Trust Announces Conservation Easement with Ryder Farm in Southeast

The Westchester Land Trust announced a conservation easement with Ryder Farm – established in 1795 and the oldest working farm in Putnam County – to protect the 128-acre farm in the Town of Southeast from future development. Ryder Farm was identified as a “significant feature” among the town’s open space in the 2014 Comprehensive Plan Update prepared by AKRF, and we continue to serve as Town of Southeast Planner.
