McInnis Cement Oak Point Terminal
In 2018, McInnis Cement celebrated the opening of their new 100,000-square-foot cement terminal in the Bronx.
AKRF provided environmental, planning, permitting, and civil engineering services for the new facility, which includes a 650-foot dock and three loading silos. Our work included site assessment/remediation services, preparation of the SEQRA Environmental Assessment, and Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan inspections.
AKRF continued to ensure permitting and regulatory compliance with construction and operation requirements. Oak Point Terminal was the first project to receive Waterfront Edge Design Guidelines (WEDG) Certification from The Waterfront Alliance.
