Civic and government buildings serve the public good in myriad ways.
AKRF has worked on a wide range of civic and government buildings, including community recreation centers; police, fire, and EMS stations and training facilities; sanitation department garages; courthouse, correctional, and related justice facilities; and municipal buildings and public works facilities.
Recent Milestones
Construction commenced in 2024 on the Mary Cali Dalton Recreation Center in Staten Island, Marlboro Agricultural Education Center in Brooklyn, and New York City Department of Sanitation Districts 1 and 3 facility in Staten Island.
AKRF prepared the CEQR Environmental Assessment Statement for the $18 million Marlboro Agricultural Education Center in Brooklyn. Rendering by Studio Gang.
