AKRF has worked extensively on new buildings, expansions, and renovations for cultural institutions.
Our longtime clients include the American Museum of Natural History, Metropolitan Museum of Art, Museum of Modern Art, Whitney Museum of American Art, Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, and New York Public Library.
We have also worked for The Brandt Foundation, Dia Art Foundation, Lake Placid Center for the Arts, Queens Public Library, Irish Arts Center, and other museums, galleries, libraries, theaters, and performing arts centers.
Recent Milestones
A groundbreaking ceremony was held for the new H.M. Agnes Hsu-Tang Wing at The Met in 2026 while a new Tang Wing for American Democracy opened at New York Historical. The Frick Collection and Delacorte Theater reopened in 2025 after major renovations.
