AKRF is committed to the development and preservation of affordable, senior, and supportive housing.

We have contributed to over 300 housing-related projects currently in planning, design, construction, or occupancy throughout our geographic footprint.

Our firm works on projects of all scopes and sizes, from single-use buildings like Tres Puentes, Willows at Saddlebrook, and Stonewall House to large-scale, mixed-use developments with housing components like Essex Crossing and La Central.

AKRF has also worked on multiple Permanent Affordability Commitment Together projects for the New York City Housing Authority and its private partners. As of December 2025, our PACT contributions encompass over $6.4 billion in funded improvements benefiting 42,000 residents in 20,000 apartments across 420 buildings.

Recent Milestones

Chelsea Beacon celebrated its groundbreaking in 2026 while public review started for 100 Gold Street, which will transform a City-owned site in Lower Manhattan into approximately 4,000 new homes. The HELP Women’s Center in Brooklyn was honored with a 2026 Big Apple Brownfield Award and Fischer Senior Apartments opened in the Bronx.
