AKRF is among the most trusted consultants for attentive, strategic, and meticulous environmental review.

Since its founding AKRF has been at the forefront of analyzing and documenting environmental impacts pursuant to the National Environmental Policy Act, New York State Environmental Quality Review Act, and New York City Environmental Quality Review guidelines, among other requirements like New Jersey Executive Order 215.

We have been pivotal in defining the state-of-the-art for environmental impact analysis, playing an important role in preparing the original CEQR Technical Manual and its major updates. AKRF also served as a key stakeholder in developing New York City’s Green Fast Track Initiative and serving on the Get Stuff Built Advisory Board.

Other specialties include evaluations in accordance with Section 4(f) of the U.S. Department of Transportation Act of 1966 and Section 6(f) of the Land and Water Conservation Fund Act, Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act, and more.
