Construction on a new anaerobic digester facility continues to advance in Linden, NJ.

AKRF is providing environmental permitting and consulting for an organic waste anaerobic digester facility located on approximately 21 acres that will use food waste and other processed organic material to produce renewable natural gas.

Our work has included securing a variety of state, county, and local permits, including the NJDEP Air Permitting and Class C Recycling Permit, Linden Roselle Sewerage Authority’s Individual Discharge Permit, and Union County Utilities Authority’s Solid Waste Management Plan Amendment.

AKRF continues to support Linden Renewable Energy in preparing for commissioning and operations. Construction was released in 2023, and the facility will be operating in 2026.
