Solar One Environmental Education Center
The new Solar One Environmental Education Center is now open at the north end of Stuyvesant Cove Park in Manhattan.
AKRF led civil engineering, site assessment/remediation, and CEQR environmental planning for the project on behalf of the New York City Economic Development Corporation and the Solar One design and development team.
The 6,400-square-foot facility features a two-story learning center to allow for the teaching and demonstration of urban environmental stewardship.
