Manhattan West is built atop a 2.6-acre deck spanning active Amtrak and LIRR rail yards.

Each site is being remediated individually pursuant to E-Designation requirements for hazardous materials, air quality, and noise attenuation. AKRF provided site assessment/remediation services for Pendry Manhattan West, The Lofts, The Eugene, and Two Manhattan West.

We also performed air quality and noise E-Designation services for Manhattan West’s retail podium and secured the final NYCOER approvals for One Manhattan West.
