The movement of goods by air, land, and sea is supported in each case by robust port facilities, terminals, and infrastructure.

AKRF has contributed to transportation plans and programs designed to better understand the drivers and characteristics of local and regional goods movement and prepare for the evolving nature of this fast-moving industry.

Among other projects, we are a joint-venture partner leading environmental review for the Cross Harbor Freight Program in New York City; contributed to a Comprehensive Strategic Facility Plan for the Port of Philadelphia; and are supporting a Georgia Ports Authority study for replacing the Talmadge Bridge.
