Our energy practice has considerable experience in all phases of facility development, design, and construction on behalf of major utility companies, independent power producers, alternative energy companies, natural gas pipeline developers, and government agencies.

We also provide environmental and regulatory support for combined heat and power facilities and distributed generation projects. AKRF has worked on oil and gas power plant projects in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Wisconsin.

AKRF provided multimedia licensing support for the 540-megawatt combined cycle generating facility that opened in 2018 at Sewaren Generating Station in Woodbridge, NJ, and the 485-megawatt combined cycle generating station that opened in 2019 at Bridgeport Harbor Station in Bridgeport, CT.
