Town of Dover Planning Services

AKRF has served as the consulting planner to the Town of Dover in support of the Planning Board and Town Board for over 15 years.

We provide the Dutchess County, NY, community master plan and zoning recommendations, review site plan, special permit and subdivision applications, consult on zoning compliance, review SEQRA documentation, and regularly attend Planning Board meetings.

AKRF has prepared and provided technical review of several zoning text amendments undertaken by the Town, including updates to the site plan review process, certain special permit uses (including camps), and a new local law regulating development of solar energy projects.
