Atlantic Avenue Mixed-Use Plan
The Atlantic Avenue Mixed-Use Plan will transform a mixed-use stretch of Atlantic Avenue and neighboring blocks in Crown Heights and Bedford-Stuyvesant.
The plan will facilitate the construction of affordable housing, new space for jobs and services, more pedestrian-friendly streets, and investments in neighborhood improvements in Brooklyn.
AKRF prepared land use, shadows, urban design, neighborhood character, air quality, and transportation analyses as part of the CEQR Environmental Impact Statement. The plan was adopted by the New York City Council in May 2025.
