Comp Sci High Charter School
Comp Sci High is a new 46,000-square-foot charter school in the Mott Haven neighborhood of the Bronx.
AKRF served as civil engineer for the school building, which accommodates over 500 students from 9th through 12th grades and occupies the site of a former auto body shop and two abandoned residential properties.
In addition to site/civil design and permitting our work included preparation of the Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan and engineering inspections of the stormwater management construction. The all-electric school opened in 2024 with classrooms, labs, outdoor terraces, a gymnasium, and coworking space.
