BOEM Initiates Environmental Review of Beacon Wind

The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management initiated the environmental review of Beacon Wind, a 2,430-megawatt offshore wind energy project off the Massachusetts coast. The project would install up to 155 turbines, two offshore substation platforms, and two offshore export cables. AKRF is part of the ICF consultant team preparing the Environmental Impact Statement pursuant to NEPA requirements.
